Born Brett Strassner, November 16 of Buffalo, NY – Brett always had an interest in music.  His interests started in 3rd grade when he started out as a drummer/percussionist.  In high school, he was apart of school band on their drum line.

He attended the University of Kentucky where he received his Master’s and Bachelor’s in Mathematics, Bachelor’s in Linguistics, and a Bachelor’s in Secondary English Education.

His real passion for DJ-ing started in 1992 bouncing back and forth from different raves.  Brett called Japan his home in 2002, and for the following three years, where his interests would grow beyond spinning and into appearing in a variety of comic based events.  While in Japan, he had the opportunity to dance as a “b-boy” with the Tokyo Rocksteady Crew and even appeared in a video of theirs.

Today, his influence can still be seen throughout various games, comics and playing cards.  Aside from being an avid gamer (virtual and otherwise) he is a master in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Jeet Kun Do, and Wing Chun.  Some other hobbies of his include bodybuilding (where he was a former NPC) as well as Flatland Freestlye BMX rider, riding his custom GT show.

Dj Arch Angel’s influence goes beyond those of the fictional world.  He is also and Admin and Officer of the Deep House Experts Facebook page.  An invitee to scientific conferences at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology and is on the Board of Directors for Cincinnatus (a nonprofit organization for worldwide scientific collaboration in healthcare.
